No water out tell tale.

I have a 1997 130 hp johnson. Motor had been setting up for a couple of years. Installed on boat, cleaned carbs, lubed all 4 cylinders, replaced LU oil. Pulled LU and water pump looked new. Impeller still pliable. No sign of wear. Reassembled LU and installed plugs and all linkages. Motor fired instantly and ran perfect. No water at tell tale. Doesn't appear to be getting hot. Can hold your hands on heads after running 3-4 minutes. Took off tell tale hose and blew through it. It appears the tale tale is coming off the thermostat on the starboard cyl bank. I'm running on muffs. What am I missing?

Perhaps the pee tube fitting at powerhead is plugged, did you blow some air backwards through the fitting?

'P' tube come off block not t-stat....
