No spark

I have a 1982 Mercury 25hp tiller handle. I replaced the stator and trigger. Reassemble everything and the engine wouldn’t start. Found no spark to #1 cylinder. So I replaced the switch box. Still no spark from the number one spot on the switch box. I swapped the wires coming from the switch box at the coils and the spark moves from #2 to #1. Confirming that I have no spark at the #1 stud on the switch box!! I’m lost at what to do next??

Yes sir! Both original and new. Same problem on both. No spark from #1 spot

Is there a way to test it. And do you know what the stator should be reading when you ohm it out or where I can find the specs

cdi electronics has a nice write up they provide with their replacement box for the purpose of troubleshooting..
