Well, it may be no good but maybe not.
Are you checking with all wires removed and the coil isolated?
It can depend on the quality/accuracy of the meter and the scale you select.
I don't trust "discount", cheap meters for measuring anything.
I don't have the specification for that coil but it should be somewhere in the neighborhood of 1 ohm.
If you have the meter on kilo ohms, mega ohms or even auto ranging you might get a 0.00 reading from a good coil.
Are you using the lowest scale?
Try testing on the 1 ohm scale and, if you get OL (over limit) try the next scale up.
