Trying to identify the lower.unit and what the hose is for

The hose was added on for low water pick ups.

Looks like a bob machine shop add -on. Make sure the boat will run over 70 mph as if not it can actually make you go slower!!!

Some one else told me about the speed thing but couldnt explaun what he meant as this. Is goin on a 95 renken aqua deck 220. Should i be looking for a different engine\lower unit combo?

Put it(lower unit) on craigslist and find a stock unit...

The original 200 hp lower unit shifted to FORWARD with a DOWN motion of the shift rod.---Later units shift opposite to that.---------Do the research and get the right one.
