mounting bolts

I am installing a 115 on my boat...old motor only had the 2 top bolts thru the bracket and transom (50HP)...for this bigger motor do I need to install bolts on the lower holes in the bracket as well? It is going to be very difficult to get a nut/wrench on the inside for the bottom holes due to very little access.:confused:
 
115 is a big step up over a 50. Is the the boat rated for that HP / outboard weight? If yes, I'd add the lower bolts.
 
Absolutely, you will need those lower bolts. If one of the top ones fail, you are in deep do do. And using reverse will put too much strain on the top bolts if you only have two.
