How far can the heads be milled without creating piston interference.

Is there anyone out there who knows the answer? I have a set of heads already cut .070 just wanted to know if they will work before I pull the original heads and find out it won't work for myself. I guess I'll get the answer and let everyone else know.

Had a customer try this on a 1999 115hp which is basically the same motor less 2 cylinders, and pistons hit the edge of combustion dome at WOT leaving a pretty ring around the piston tops. The pistons cleared at cranking and idle, rods/pistons just stretched at rpm. You may have to remachine the chamber dome..

Thanks for your info. Do you remember by chance if he shaved the heads at .070 or less?
