Hello all. My 1996 60hp 3 cylinder Mariner just died. Lost compression on center cylinder when it was run with no oil (long story). One of the options is to swap to a rebuilt powerhead but I’m not sure how difficult it is. I’m probably a better than average backyard mechanic but have never done anything like this. I have a service manual but it’s pretty vague..so.. how hard is it? Anything to watch for?
