Mercury optimax fuel injectors

I have a 2010 200 hp Mercury optimax pro XS engine (1B788247) and would like to remove my fuel injectors to be sent out to be cleaned. What is the procedure for removal? I believe I have to relieve the pressure from the Schrader valves first. Correct? Unhook electrical connection, remove two Allen bolts, then remove injector. Is this correct? Also, when installing cleaned injectors, are the O rings lubricated? Thanks

You are going to remove all the injector hold down allen screws and pull the 6 fuel injectors from the rail. You are going to remove the two nuts that hold the rail to the cylinder head, pull the fuel rail off the head and remove the 6 direct injectors.
12 injectors total.

A little outboard 2strk oil helps on the o-rings.

But, why are you cleaning your injectors? Is the a running issue?

I have 321 hours on the engine and I figured it's about time for some preventative maintence. The last two years that engine had me off the water with two different problems. First time was broken and chipped reeds. I replaced them with fiberglass reeds by Chris Carson. Second time was a bad coil. I'm thinking a clogged injector may be next.
