mercury 250 pro xb help

I have pro xb 250 and when I go to take off it is real sluggish. When I floor the throttle it just sits and bog's real bad, then when starts to go its sluggish until mid plane, when I go to load it on the trailer it has little power to load. I have took this to several shop's with no cure. This has been going on for 4 years,if anybody out there could help me with this problem I would appreciate it.

Did anyone test the accellerator pump operation? What all did the shops do to it?

This engine is a EFI and has no accelerator pump.... Test the shift interrupter as this will make engine run on 3 cylinders. Also check the spark as it has a separate ignition and ECU box. Check all grounds on ignition plate and CDM modules and clean and tighten. Also check fuel pressure from electric pump and change diaphragm on mechanical pump. Does engine run ok at WOT or is it a tad lazy? If so check the reed as these motors are bad about reed failures...

I've got the same problem. I disconnected the shift interupter & seems better. I just ordered a new one. Let me know how yours is.
