Mercury 20hp priming

Hello all, I'm having an issue with priming. I was getting my 13' aluminum ready and went to prime and the bulb collapses. Replaced the bulb and cant get any fuel to the prime bulb on the engine. All my lines look good. Any ideas?

Found the issue, can't even blow through it.

And you are not supposed to be able to blow through those. Is your ball between that and the tank? Or between thar and the motor?

I don't know what an "anti-siphon" valve is. My fuel sources have all been with a screened inlet tube stuck down into a tank of fuel, connected to the fuel inlet of the engine via a "squeezable (ha ha used to be) priming bulb" that forces the carbs to fill with fuel and the needle valve shut off the flow of fuel to the engine, whereby the squeeze bulb gets hard (used to be the case), telling you that the engine is full of fuel ready to start, and you are ready to start your engine, choking when necessary.

My tank has a float and a fuel screen in it as well. Replaced the ball because the old one would just collapse. Now it just. Seems to suck air. Worked fine last yr. Wen to start it for the season and heree i am.

It is not an anti siphon Valve. It is a pressure Valve. It does not allow pressure from the tank to reach the motor. But it will open with Vacuum. Throw it away they are garbage.

Well, apparently it wants to prime but now leaks from connection. So, im guessing new connections? I did remove siphon
