Mercruiser Stern Drive Service Manual

Hi
Can anyone help me with Identifying the model of this sterndrive system from Mercruiser in order to find its service manual ?
there is just a serial number on it : B519406 Z

Based on the partial serial number (IF it is correct then it may be this below)

MERCRUISER : Alpha One SS 1986-1989, II SSM, III, III SSM, IIIA SSM, IV SSM, V SSM

Service manual # 6

What I will say, based on the trim ram design it is an older model.

Does it have a shift cable going to outdrive? If not then it could be a TRS drive. The predecessor to the Bravo. Shifting was controlled by a transmission. Drive was basically all time driven and no shift capabilities.

If you could spit outdrive from gimbal bell housing and snap a pic of the bell housing showing the shift cable assembly within the bell housing if present then that would make it much easier to identify

Most likely a TR or TRS with an aftermarket high performance lower gear unit.
Note the lower-to-upper unit six bolt pattern, the absence of a water pick up area and no thru prop exhaust outlet.

That's yer handy dandy Speedmaster #3. Racing unit. Not really for recreational use but if you like the straight thru transom exhaust noise, I guess it will make you happy.
Looks like it has a Latham Marine external steering ram and/or tie bar mount bolted to the back. Very "Miami Vice" all around. That prop tho...

These don't shift, you need a regular Velvet Drive (1:1 ratio) to shift it F-N-R.
