Working on 228 1981 mercruser after long warmup shuts down. What should the v be at + side of coil points ignition?

You really should start your own thread and provide as much info as possible: year, engine displacement, outdrive model, serial #, etc. Jumping on to another thread often won't get you the answers you need.

I don't know how to do that. I'm having problems nav this forum. I replyed to your last comment. The boat is 1981 was 305. Up graded to 350 10 years ago I have no ser.Number was on valve cover but damaged can't read.
