Mercruiser 5.7L falls death after getting warm

Hello.

Question our engine falls death after getting the right engine temperature, its a mercruiser 5.7L V8 from 1999. Cold start runs fine. And after the engine gets warm if falls death. I have no qlue whats the problem.

Not much to go on but when it happens check for spark at the coil wire. No spark then check for voltage at the + side of the coil

The coil is already replaced and also the bougie. And bougie wires.fuelpomp, can it maybe be the knock sensor thats causing the problem?

Look up "vapor lock"

Check the fuel pressure.

Next time this happens, open the engine cover and use the bilge blower, to cool the engine. If it starts, repeat by running the engine, using the blower and opening the engine cover before shutting it off. If it starts, it can be vapor lock.

Well we tested the boat today again. Whit open cap so engine has enough open air and cooling, Where in the docks try to fix it
