Hi there all just wounded if anyone can help me decide what propeller I need for my 40hp mariner it's on a 2 seater 12 ft fibreglass boat :rolleyes:

Goggle prop wizard and put in your numbers and it will give you a ball park figure,then you have to know your max rpms and go for a prop that keeps you between the min and max recommended rpms based on your boat,motor,load and possible variations

Is it a pin drive or thru prop?? Is see in your avatar its the Mariner badged Yamaha . If its the thru prop design you can look under Yamaha for a prop.

What's a pin drive or thru prop I think the exhaust comes thru middle of prop if that helps just trying to get it ready for summer chipped my propeller last season and told I will lose speed

Take it to a prop shop for refurbishment.
