Ive pulled a exhaust bolt out by mistake after having new heads fitted everthing was fine no water dropped
It had a split dipstick housing so I removed the bold water come out ive took all bolts on the 1 side out resealed drained all water and oil and filters I turned over the engine and water got in oil
So changed everthing
I now have water in 1 cylinder was perfect before I touched it my engineer as been on holiday
Any ideas what I've done wrong

Hi,
Sounds a bit like a nightmare for sure!

Is this an FWC engine or raw water?
Is the water you see salt water?

I'm wondering if maybe you disturbed or repositioned the exhaust riser in some way while doing the work?

Because, many an engine has ingested water through the exhaust valves due to a badly placed or poorly designed riser.

If it's FWC and the water you see is closed system coolant, perhaps removing a bolt that also plugs a water jacket should be easily sealed again. What sealant are you using?
I would use Permatex Form and Gasket #2. You need to ensure the threads are clean and dry and give the sealant enough time to cure.
Just follow package directions.

Good luck and hope you get it fixed.
Please update with your results.
