Marc 15hp 2stroke

Hi I have a 2012 merc 15hp 2stroke with a blown gearbox and I can get a 2002 second hand one and just want to know if they are compatible

Got to be careful as in that time frame(02) those where Yammy motors and the later are Tohatsu
