Leaking oil from lower unit EFI 225 HP

Hello,

recently I´ve tried out this motor, which was sitting in a garage for a quite few years. I started it just for a moment,
because there was no water intake and noticed the oil leaking from lower unit, like shown on picture. There are four or five
holes on the top on each side and oil is leaking simultaneosly from first hole on both sides. I am not sure what is the purpose of that
holes, the unit is remade for racing, dont have the picture of them for now. There wasnt much of leaked oil, just few drops, I was thinking about
some additional exhaust outlet, but thats just my laic opinion.

Thanks Jakub

Thanks, I have already got cleaned injectors, there should be everything fine, it was serviced before stored in a garage. Is there any other problem except overheating that could be caused by running without water for a while, waterpump or something? I am not sure if I will be able to provide water supply on my yard, just want to see how it runs for a few minutes.

That a pre 1990 motor and the holes are drilled in the exhaust can above cavation plate for exhaust relief. Replace the impeller (47-89994) before usage. What are you putting this on as this motor is set up for fast hulls, you cannot ski/tube with this engine as it will not live do to cooling mod's.

If you ran it without water to lubricate the impeller than the impeller itself was destroyed !!!!!!!!----Install a new one before running it on the lake or river.
