"I'm restoring a 1975, 115 hp Johnson. The kill switch leads were hanging loose. One has an eyelet terminal that I suspect is grounded on the post in the control box. The other lead ends in a section of stripped insulation. From previous post, I suspect this attaches to the black wire with yellow stripe. However, I cannot find a likely connection point in the control box. This link may be helpful http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/ignitionSwitch.html
Any ideas on the terminal point is appreciated."

"Scott, thanks. I found that the kill switch is normally open and I found that a section of insulation was removed from the black/yellow wire in the lower half of the box. I guess the switch lead was wrapped and taped here."
