Keyed ignition power

Where can I tie in to get ignition power for my gauges. Also installed stereo and need ignition power for that as well.

You should not be running any gauges , stereo , fish finders . lights through the motor wiring harness and key.----Run a separate fused panel to the helm for that !

Going to half way disagree as been tying in guages for years to purple ignition wire. But leave off the other accessories ...….

So do I just splice into the purple wire and daisy chain the gauges?
