laid a plank across the gunwales, lowered the motor onto the plank... unhooked and tossed it to the lawn....![]()

Chris, for years I had a similar lift system with a roller bearing trolley for the chain fall.

It was self supporting, ran perpendicular the hull, and would easily accept a 11 foot beam hull.
It gave me plenty of room off to the side to raise or lower an engine.
It was more along the lines of this, but was not portable.

So far the 10in. limb hasn't broken![]()
