Johnson Tilt and Trim swap

Hi I'm new to the group. I have a 2000 Johnson 35hp with a tiller handle and electric start. I was wanting to add tilt and trim to it is there any other motors from Johnson or Evinrude that the parts would just swap directly over to my motor? Thanks

I have not looked at the parts breakdown.---Does your motor have 2 transom clamps or is it bolted to the transom ??---But you may have to swap out the midsection too.------------Post your exact model # so it can be checked out.

If is a short shaft trim will not fit...

its a long shaft it has 2 mounts it's not bolted to the transom it's clamped

Fact----You will need a different midsection in order to be able to mount a factory trim / tilt.-------Thus aftermarket may be the best way to go.----Motor is a 2001 model.
