Johnson 70 PH power head

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if a 1990 Johnson 70PH power head is the same as a 1977 power head? I can get a 1990 power head at a reasonable price as spares for my 1977 model.

Sorry wont fit as 1990 driveshaft splines are fine spline where yours is 4 spline....
