Johnson 60 no spark

Hello all new to the forum I’m running a Johnson 60 model J60TLCUC that quit on me recently after running great all day. I found the rectifier fried and will replace as soon as I get the replacement. My opinion is it might be the original part and failed from age so my question is after I replace it what else should I check in the charging/ignition system to make sure something else in the systems didn’t fry it? Thanks in advance for any help provided!

Thank you faztbullet is there a down and dirty way to check stator output for instance seeing normal battery voltage with engine running or do I need to go by the service manual?
