Johnson 150 idle problems

I have heard changing the idle jet helps with idle problems , does anyone have any info ?

It is a 92 Johnson 150 fast strike. I rebuilt the carbs and found that the main jet had fallen out on one carb and was loose in a few others . My guess was that the previous owner thought he was making some sort of adjustment. Which was wrong . Sometimes trouble shooting someone else’s fix attempts is the hardest. It seems to be running well now. Compression is around 95 on all cylinders. I went through and set the linkage correctly, fixed all leaks and replaced filters and plugs . Hopefully It run good for a

They are know for jets comming loose, that why they had a update to plug. New plug has a tab to stop jet from backing fully out. #327116
