Is it worth it going from 115 to 140hp?

I'm referring to swapping a 1983 Mariner I6 115 with a 1980 I6 140. My Mariner is only pushing my 17' Larson about 41 mph tops. Would like to get it up around 47. Is the difference between these two motors worth doing the swap? I can probably manage it for maybe $100 since they are a similar value. I know I should probably be looking at a V6 150, but I can't seem to find any for under a grand.

Not worth it....look for a 2L 135 V-6..easy convert to 150hp
