Ignition switch / solenoid problem 2000 ficht 200hp

Began with intermittent cranking issue where starter would seem to drag and eventually crank and start.Newer battery and recent new starter. All connections removed and cleaned at battery , starter , and solenoid . 12 volts at solenoid. 12 volts on start side of solenoid with key on start . turn key to start , starter drags . cycle key and everything seems dead, (no click ). Jump across solenoid with key on, starts every time.

Note : Key switch has issue returning from start to run.

Yeah , That's the road i was heading down. Ordered one but got the wrong switch, the one with screw on terminals ,not the press on lugs. Hoping this does the trick ! Thanks
 
Could be a PDP problem, start delay relay, EMM or plain old solenoid not passing voltage across posts...My first test would be on solenoid, also that new battery need to be 950CCA minimum….
