I have a 1991 searay with 4.3 l mercruiser , alpha 1 drive , sometimes the engine will crank & start , then run for awhile then just die.
It ALWAYS SEEMS TO BLOW THE 20 AMP IGNITION FUSE. Last time it was running I increased the throttle awhile, then when I left off on the throttle
it blew the fuse again, this has happened twice, once before on the water .
I am currently trying th e problem ashore using muffs.
Could this be the side contoller? its a black Quicksilver with trim & trailer switches.
