How to get more mph on a bf9.9?

Hi I was wondering what propeller size I can use on my bf9.9d to get more mile per hour it has the 91/4x8 (factory), steady 19mph at 5500rpm and i would like a couple more close to 23-24

Whatever propeller you buy will need to be attached to at least a 15 hp motor. Your 9.9 is not going to do what you want.

ok. so the one they sell as power thrust 10x6.5 is not worth the try. Thanks for your time

??----That "power thrust " prop is designed for a big , slow , heavy , non planing boat.-----Such as a sailboat that goes 6 miles / hour.-----Time to do research on propellers / power / pitch / boats / speed etc----Sorry , at this time you are confused.----Your boat would be slower with that 6.5 pitch prop and engine would rev too high.---You could damage your engine with that prop !!

Your 9.9 sounds like it is running really well as it is.

I agree with the others....it seems to me that you are probably getting the very BEST out of the 9.9 as far as speed goes.

Instead of expensive prop experiments you might want to explore trying to carry less weight or loading the weight in the hull differently to possibly gain a slight speed increase.
