How to find a broken injector to do MD11D compression test

The OEM kit and adapters to do a compression test are very expensive. It's possible to use an injector with the innards stripped out as an adapter. Any ideas on sources for nonworking injectors? It's a Volvo 833191/Bosch KBL 87s78/4

Don't see gutting an old injector and making part of a tester, might be able to do it, but still need a 1000 psi gauge and hose.

Diesel compression testers are not that expensive, less than $150

I looked around for a compression test kit, but the only one I found that specifically said it was compatible with the Penta MD series was the OEM kit for ~$800. My understanding is the sticky wicket is getting a compatible piece that will screw into the Volvo injector port, that’s why people refashion injectors into adapters. Do you have a source for a compatible kit at that price point?

Looking at the injector part numbers in post 1, I don't see how the injector screws into the head.

Searching "diesel compression tester" comes up with several different models. The test kits list their dimensions which should identify if the kit has something that will work. I don't have the injector to measure so I'm unable to see if one of the adapters will work

The injectors don't screw in. They are held in with a block that is bolted down onto the injector.
