New member and first post...Just recently bought a new to me boat and motor and am replacing the impeller...1st time for me doing this. As with most projects when I'm doing it for the first time I second guess myself. Taking the old impeller out and looking into the housing it was turning clockwise. Looking at videos and pictures it should be turning CCW. It wasn't pumping water before but the motor had set for a few years...it was serviced before this and the gas was drained in the boat and motor. The motor is Honda BF40, BAYS-3211009, 2001 I believe. Thanks for your help.
