Hi i have a pair of 2020 -225 Hondas just installed on my boat the tilt and trim switches on the consol work up and down port and starboard the single switch on the handle works the port motor only the switches on the motors themselves work up and down i replaced the harness that ties the two motors together and the single switch on the handle and one relay for the starboard motor at the shifter still cannot get the single switch to tilt port and starboard motors at the same time please help hoping someone can give me an solution to correct this problem

Not sure this will help, but I've attached a detailed wiring diagram for the console for a dual engine set up. Note that there are two T/T connectors, one for each engine. Also note that there are a number of wires that should not be connected to anything.

Well chawk-man thanks for the diagram i got down to the boat and checked out that diagram you sent me everything checks out ok plug wise its pretty much plug and play single switch on the handle still only working port motor there are 2 relays on the shifter box i only have one new one that i plugged in should i purchase another to see if that works???. Would you know if there is a relay on the engine itself where the main cable connects to the engine i have a shop manual coming but haven't received it yet.

Since you are repowering with the newer type honda engine rectangular harness socket and not the old round socket do you have a new remote that goes with it?

If you are using the older Dual HONDA OEM Honda Mechanical Control Boxes 06240-ZW5-U70 it shows both tilt trim switches mounted in port side handle. The schematic does not show a internal connection with in the remote for those switches to make one switch control both engines. I have seen the Suzuki dual remote has a switch at the base which will control both engines, but the Honda does not. Since both switches on the Honda control are located on the same handle one could easily control both at the same time there is no need to have one switch control both. Also when I tested an actual dual remote there is no continuity between the switches from the red and blue sockets on the remote that would indicate one switch controls both engines. s.

If you using a single handled control and trying to control both engines from that it is possible there was an optional "splitter" connection wire that is between the remote and the wiring harness diagrams and when the new rectangular harness was wired that connection was removed with the old round socket harness?
