Honda Digital Speedometer help

NEED HELP on digital Honda speedometer gauge. I recently swapped out my aging BF130s with some cherry 2006 BF150s complete with digital tachs and speedometer. I think I have hooked up all the gauges to the proper wiring harness connectors to include the PORT fuel pulse (orange lead) to the orange lead coming out of digital speedometer ( as required by Honda wiring diagram for twin engine setup). The issue I am having is I cannot seem to get the S, P or both S,P indicators on digital speedometer when i press the mode button to view the fuel integration meter, fuel economy meter, and fuel flow meters. All the fuel function meters works fine for the Starboard motor (albeit without S indicator light on gauge) . Is it because I am only running one motor at a time with flushing kit in driveway, as I have not been able to water test boat/engines. Ive tried to leave Port ignition in the on position to see if the speedo needs a signal from PORT in order to enable fuel meter functions for both motors, but only starboard motor reports fuel meter status..The power on sequence momentarily displays all functions on gauge including S,P letters but extinguishes after a few seconds. I have the Honda Digital Speedometer manual, but not that useful. Maybe someone with these vintage dual 2006 BF150s can explain this digital speedometer with respect to fuel meter capabilities to me . I.e. does the S, P indicator on speedo come up and stay on when both engines are running?

I think the 150's use the same harness and hook ups as the 225's. So, check your wiring and plugs as shown in the attached diagram.

Thanks for the diagram, it made it much easier to trace the connections; I found that I had an incorrect 6 pin connection on the port side harness which had the green wire fuel pulse 2. I also had to reset/toggle the setup on the speedometer to enable 2 engines and.. it works! Thanks
