My boat runs fine. Had carbs rebuilt late last season and all is good. I have had in the past and even now gas leak out where the screws are (this pic is not mine but same pump). It only leaks if I over pump the ball valve. When the boat is running there are no issues. If I only give 2-3 squeezes there are no issues. I gave it lots of squeezes yesterday because had a new recor on and new fuel line so thought I had to fill all the up.
Anyway, is it "normal" for it to leak when over pressured? I assume when running the vaccum is keeping the pressure low so no leaks or issues.
