Honda BF225 Capacity

I ordered a manual for my new to me motor (2005 Honda BF225) - However, I noticed on the Honda Specs guide and the owners manual that they list two different capacity levels for the BF225. The owners manual from 2005 says 8.0 quarts or 8.2 with filter change. The Honda specs guide says 9.0 quarts or 9.2 with oil filter change.

I know its self explanatory to just check the level when you change the oil, but I just found this to be a little odd.

Or 8.2 quarts with filter change. But still check level after changing oil because these big Honda's don't drain well unless the oil is warm and you give it plenty of time to drain. D not over fill. In fact, a little under fill does no harm.
