Honda BF150 mid shaft bushing

Hi All,

After some reading it looks like this little $20 maintenance item can cause quite a problem if it isnt addressed based on the online horror stories. I do not believe it has been replaced (motor is an 06). The frustrating part is I did the water pump last year, so I need to drop the LU again.

Is this a difficult repair? Anything I should beware of? Should I just leave it alone? I've seen some info about the 225s to do this; similar procedure?

Not as big an issue on the 150, it is easy to do, wait until you next service the water pump, inspect it and see how worn or distorted it looks and replace if necessary.
