Honda BF130A beeping

We have a BF130A
BZBE100.... and when you turn the keyswitch, before starting the engine, there is a single long beep that repeats, it also occurs with engine running, and it runs just fine, no issues.

I shorted the 2 wires for the diagnostic codes and got the following.

1 long light
2 long followed by 4 short.

I think this is multiple faults but not sure. 24 seems to be the overheat sensor but it is measuring ok, checked, removed and put in hot water to check, power going to sensor ok.

Any advice gratefully received.

1 long is code 10, intake air temp sensor and 24 is the exhaust temp sensor, are you testing the correct sensor, it's not the one on the cylinder head?

I have the correct sensor for the temperature but I will check the IAT sensor tomorrow, don't think I got that one right.

Thanks

Air temp is the one in the lowest tract of the intake manifold. I would also check the temp sensor in the top of the block behind the intake manifold, just to be sure

The IAT sensor was badly corroded, I've ordered a new sensor, but the plug is also corroded. Is it possible to get the plug on its own?

I am pretty sure if you search the internet you will find the little terminals are available, then depin and replace
