honda bf10d l/s 2010

i have a 10 hp honda 2010 it is a long shaft,a long story but i need to change to a short,what other parts do i need,i have the short gearbox

I've never tried doing this but I think you'll find that besides needing the short extension case and short upper shift rod, you will also need the short mount case and the swivel that goes with it. If you bought those items separately, the attached components would transfer from the long shaft components to the short shaft ones.

Again, I'm not sure but you might be able to cut down the long swivel to fit the short mount case.

That is, of course, if your replacement gearcase came complete with lower shift shaft and main shaft already installed.
