WHAT???? I don't own a 150, but that is ridiculous. Look again. It's basic maintenance.
Here is where it is on my 225, which should be similar. The prop shaft comes out of a rounded area on the bottom of the engine. On the bottom of that rounded area, on the port side, you will see a slotted screw. That's the lower unit drain. About 14 inches above that screw, under the cavitation plate, you will see a second slotted screw. That's the fill (top-off) plug.
Place your drain pan under the bottom plug. Remove the bottom plug. Then remove the top plug. The oil will drain out into your pan. Note the amount of filings on the bottom plug. It is magnatized. Filings should not be excessive.
To refill, purchase a lower unit pump that fits a gallon container. Purchase a gallon of the specified 90W marine gear lube. Also, purchase an adapter that fits the Honda bottom fill opening. Make sure the threads on the adapter match the plug you removed to drain the lower unit. Attach the adapter to the end of the pump line and screw it into the lower plug hole. Pump in gear lube until it starts to come out of the top plug hole. I think it's about 1.2 liters. When it starts to come out of the top opening screw in the top plug screw. Remove the filler adapter and stick your finger over the bottom hole until you can screw in the bottom plug.
It's always good practice to use new O rings on both plug screws.
