Honda 1990 BF15A carier holder

Hi,I have troubles to find this part... Do you have any suggestions where to looking for? Do you think that the parts from the new serie are interconvertible ?

It appears to have a crack in it.----But why will this part not work any more ?

I saw oil comining out... And there are few cracks, and its mixing the water and the oil. I use it in the sea and I want it ready. I know it's old, but I love it!

Well, you are correct, it's not available any longer. The gearcase assembly is available but you probably don't want to spend $900.00.

Other than that, Ebay may be the only place to find one.

A very good tig welder may be able to repair the cracks. You might try taking it to a good machine shop and see if they can help you out.

Or, look for a whole outboard that doesn't run and try to buy it reasonably enough to use for parts.

I'm sure you've already thought of these things but just mentioning in case you haven't.

I would also look at Suzuki DT 20 ,30,40 hp housings just see if one may fit or a slight modification may do it apply plan B.
