Help identifying a 4cyl 4carb oil injected Murcury outboard no serial number plate

I recent bought a murcury what was told 100hp serial number plate gone no serial numbers found now motor was white every thing Murcury oil injection has been remover . The seller did not know much came on a boat he bought is 4 cyl 4 carbs bottom two carberators have plugged low speed jets runs decent

Thanks I had read that as to searay more trying to figure out a way to identify the HP and year as to if I need parts . Guy said 100hp but was guessing.

1988 model. Could be 100 or 115hp depending on carb model.

Thanks would numbers on carbs give me that info

Thanks seems the part number on carb comes up both 100HP and 115 part number is 3301 9532 on carbs

OK motor run alright has a cough at idle I had found a video of guy setting timing on a 90HP Murcury was low speed 4 degrees and wide open 24 degrees O searched web to find timing spec for my 1988 4 cyl mod with no luck. I do not have a manual for motor yet. And one know timing specs for a 1988 100 hp4cyl 2plus 2 Murcury thanks

Timing is factory set.-----Does not change for the life of the motor.----Unless an owner used the ---" lets see what happens if I adjust this linkage " ---approach to trouble shooting.

Someone had screws lose so assume was changed not sure so what is the Spec for the low and high check thanks

Look on the flange as a stamped number. 20 is a 100hp an 21 is a 115hp. See pic below as it is a 33

Would you know timing setting for this motor I found one video guy had a 90hp Murcury looked simular he said 4degees for low speed 24 max 26 for high screws were lose on stops I set to those numbers runs decent on muffs . A occasional cough at idle thanks
