going int limp mode

i have a 03 honda 225 on a 12ft ranger bassboat. it run great for about 6 miles, then when i start letting op on the throttle it goes into limp mode, i can shut the motor off and start in right back up and it will run fine untill i let up on the fuel again then it goes back into limp

What warning lights, any alarm?

no buzzers or lights till it goes into limp. then green oil light goes out and buzzer comes until key is turned off. restart and green oil light is on and no horn. i have replaced both oil Sencers,did not help

You need to do an oil pressure check with a mechanical gauge as per manual. You should try oil and filter change instead of sensors. When you remove your old filter, cut it open and inspect for white metal flakes. You could have a failing crank bearing or thrust washer

Probably the motor going into safety mode to keep you from killing yourself with a 225 hp motor on a 12 ft boat.
