fuel system flush?

I have 1998 johnson 130. I may have some buildup behind my carbs in ports I cannot get to without a major disassemble job. Is there a fuel additive that may clean it up a little?

try a can of Seafoam...you can get at any auto parts store...get the motor running at about 1500 rpm..stop the motor....remove the gas line at the tank and insert hose into the can..start the motor and pump the bulb to pull the seafoam into the system..the motor will die...let it set over night...hook the hose back up and get the motor running...let it run until the smoke clears...have a beer with your pissed off neighbor...pour any remaining seafoam into the gas tank and take it out and try it...

Dont waste your time and $$$ on "mechanic in a can" fuel additives, the passage way needing cleaning must allow a flow thru it to clean , no additive out there will clean a stopped up passage.

''Is there a fuel additive that may clean it up a little?''....just answered the question my friend....
