Fuel fitting mystery

I have a 1993 Johnson 120 v 4, I was trying to change the inline fuel filter and the plastic fuel line fitting popped out of the lift pump/fuel pump body. There is no clamp or anything I can see that holds it in place. It just slips in and out. How do I secure it? Is there just an o ring or something?

IMG_1093 (2).jpgThanks for reply, it doesn't look broken, slips in and out of hole in body in background easily like it was two parts

Its broke as its sonic welded at factory.Need to replace VRO/OMS pump as no glue will hold it due to plastics design.

There should be lots of used VRO housings available to replace this item.------Or even a new housing.-----Time to call a few shops to see what they have in the bin.-----Your location?

Wyoming. I am in middle of nowhere so would deeply appreciate a lead where I may be able to find a part. I had looked and could only find a whole new pump for like 600. Can I just buy the housing and not the whole pump? What if I drilled a tiny hole through the housing and flange and put a tiny screw in to hold in place?
