Front motor mount lag bolts?

Hey guys , what's the best and easiest , repair for striped lag bolts? Epoxy or dowels ? Boat mounts have 1/2 lags instead of 3/8. Only striped on starboard side?

I've got git-rot and different epoxy .

mix epoxy with wood flour or sawdust to make a slurry about like pancake batter. Put that in a ziplock and then cut the end to make a 1/4 inch opening. Pipe the goop into the hole until full and allow to set. Re drill.

I prefer to glue in a new dowel - west systems and the high strength filler...
