Freeze out plug 1977 OMC

Fresh water except one week. Is it going to get into the cylinders through the exhaust putting a hose in the front where the water pump pushes water through? I didn't know if it makes a difference if the engine is not running.

The water exiting the cooling system joins the exhaust in the riser, so no it will not go into the engine unless you have bad manifolds/risers.

ok thanks, i pushed some water through there. I will keep you posted when I get the plugs in
