"Why would the engine need to be running to fog it down?? What is wrong with removing the ignitiion spark from the center of the distributor cap and then just crank the engine for about 10 to 15 seconds while spraying in the fog oil. Looks like to me this would create the same vacuum and the oily mist would be drawn into all the needed engine components because you could open the throttle all the way. You could even crank it for 10 seconds, let the starter cool and then crank again. What's everyone's thoughts on this?? Removing the plugs to inject oil is a tough job!! The boat has been hauled out to storage 3 weeks ago and there is no water out there to use the earmuff devices."
