EZ shift question

I have a 1967 Slickcraft SS 165 with a Mercruiser 120. How can I tell if it has EZ shift or not. It has a single lever shifter, is this what they mean by EZ shift?

EZshift uses a switch located on the shift plate (should be bolted to inner transom plate) where shift cable adjustments are made. This switch causes a misfire while shifting out of gear. The momentary loss of power lessens forces on the shift dog & allows it to release.

Now that I have described the system, yes you have EZshift. It came out about 1965.
