enrichment control system no power

75 hp mecury 2000, I have no power to enrichers with key on. I pulled plug from cdi, and no power there either. ground is good on cdi. the engine runs, but quickly floods out, due to enrichers not closing. could the cdi be bad? can I bypass the cdi? cdi are not cheap!

Stop-----I do not believe the CDI uses 12 volts from the battery to make spark !-----Best to invest in a manual.-----Guessing gets expensive in a hurry !

If engine runs CDI is good!!!! Are you meaning injectors?This a EFI?
