Engine swap

Hey fellas, I have an 87 Tracker with a 35 mercury. I busted the midsection and will be changing engines to a 92 model 60 Mercury. My question is this.... The 60 has power tilt trim and the 35 does not, will I need to change the remote and wiring harness or can I just plug and play and run a toggle for the tilt and trim??

Took a quick look at the parts list and the connectors (motor end) do not appear to be the same and there is two different styles listed for the 60 horse in the serial range covering 1992 models. The connector for the 35 is discontinued while both for the 60 are still available which tells me that are "different enough" or they would be still selling a part that fit a 35 horse.

Now, that doesn't necessarily mean they "won't fit" but Merc did use a few different connectors over the years and didn't play nice with each other.

Both use the standard cannon plug so all you need is a momentary toggle fuse on dash......
