First of all I'm curious to why there are no aftermarket starter for my model?
Seems like there is for all but 1972?

Secondly, can someone show me one picture of the orignal?
What bendix is the original?

It must be possible to do a "Ghetto installation" of an aftermarket that has the right bendix and simply use a direct connection to a battery?
I am no electrician or mechanic, but it is a starter motor not rocket science!
I have no clue what a solenoid is or what it does...

Was thinking flip switch breaker and to use my 2 trollingbatteries (2x 80Ah 350 serial) directly to starter?

There is a risk this is not possible, as I said I know nothing about this, but it sure sounds doable?

My model is the Belgian made serial starts with #3316 from 1972

Electric start was a option on this model and the starter failed quite regularly as the motors had so much compression. I buy em when I need em on ebay and have them rebuilt ...

Yeah I have seen that option, unfortunately I'm a swede residing in Sweden, and if the starter is rare in america it's virtually impossible to find here...
Thats why I was hoping for one aftermarket model that would fit with minor modifiction.
As long as the housing of the starter motor fits so that the distance to the "cogs" on the flyweel will be right, and then getting the right amount of "cogs" on the Bendix.
If you have a Picture of an original one I'd be thankful.
How many cogs on original Bendix? 9-10 or 11 seems to be what they used.

And can I ground the motor and then connect positive from battery to the motor itself? With a flip switch on the postive it would crank as long as I flip the switch??

Found this in Another thread: A-50-47216A2 is the part number of the discontinued starter for 1970 -71 and -72
